Our beloved PSA Counselor, Hannah Cohen, has played an extraordinary role in our school community at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary. Due to recent administrative changes, her position has been removed, leaving a void that cannot be easily filled. We, the parents, teachers, and guardians, call for her immediate reinstatement.

Hannah Cohen has been more than just a Counselor; she has been an embodiment of hope and motivation for our children. Her dedication is evidenced by a remarkable 10% decrease in chronic absenteeism at MLK Elementary. She did not merely encourage attendance — she inspired it with creative and consistent incentives that made our children eager to be at school every day.

Apart from boosting school attendance, Hannah has built trusting relationships with students, providing them with a supportive environment where they could thrive academically and socially. At a time when student well-being is more important than ever, her absence is profoundly felt.
