To the Minister of Education,

The Manchester Primary School Community points out to the Minister, that Manchester Primary School Principal, Peter Jenkins, has been directed not to resume duties at the school and to peform duties for the Regional Office from the first day of Term Four 2022 indefinitely, without cause.

During his absence, the principal who replaced him in Term 4, has lead to children with additional needs being refused reasonable access and inclusion in the school curriculum and some of the staff at the school to experience a very toxic atmosphere. This has left families and some staff feeling unsafe, and disrespected. We did not experience this during the time of Peter Jenkins being the principal at the school.

Reinstate Mr Jenkins at Manchester Primary School as Principal by the 27th January 2023.
