As a student at Jackson State University and a longtime church member, I have had the privilege of working closely with Mrs. LindaRush. She has been an integral part of our university community, making significant contributions to our academic environment and shaping the lives of many students, particularly those in the class of 2026.

Mrs. Rush was recently fired without any given reason or justification. This abrupt dismissal not only undermines her years of dedicated service but also sends a disheartening message to us all about how valued we are within this institution.

Mrs. Rush's achievements speak volumes about her commitment to education and student welfare - she has consistently gone above and beyond in her role, earning respect from students, faculty, and staff alike.

However, it seems that our current president does not share these values or recognize these efforts. His decision to dismiss Mrs. Rush without cause suggests a lack of regard for both employees' rights and institutional integrity.

We believe this incident is symptomatic of broader issues under his leadership - issues that threaten the very ethos upon which Jackson State University was built.

Therefore, we call for two actions:

1) The immediate reinstatement of Mrs. LindaRush.
2) A vote on a letter expressing no confidence in our current president leading to his resignation.
