In 2019, MitchJones' (hereinafter referred to as 'Mitch') Partnership status was revoked by Twitch (an Amazon Inc. owned livestreaming platform) after a few minor infractions. No permanent ban was ever issued. 

Since 2019, Mitch Jones has remained loyal to the platform, only livestreaming on Twitch as an affiliate. Mitch's stream has been beloved by many loyal twitch users since he began streaming WoW on Justin.TV (now Twitch) in 2011. Mitch's stream encapsulates many of the core values of Twitch, being centered around the beautiful intersection between gaming content and chat interaction. 

Twitch has repeatedly denied Partnership Applications submitted by Mitch, benefitting from the large amount of value Mitch creates for the platform without affording Mitch equal treatment and Partnership status it provides to other smaller or less-dedicated content creators.  

While Twitch as a private company should mitigate risk (brand and otherwise) as they see fit, it should also be held accountable by us, the users, for discriminating unfairly against individual streamers who have not engaged in bannable offenses. 

Accordingly, we the collective do hereby sign this petition to demand that Twitch reinstates Partnership status for MitchJones (and any other streamers with only minor offenses who have demonstrated loyalty and brand-friendly value generation over time) to live up to the values and business ethics standards to which Twitch aims to adhere.
