Coach Dan Wydner is the 2nd most winningest coach in Merritt Island High School baseball history (just 1% point behind the legendary Hall of Famer Chuck Golfarb).  Coach Wydner has helped place the Merritt Island baseball program on top of Brevard County over the past 2 seasons.  No other team has won more games during this time than our Mustangs.  His dedication to the sport and his players is unparalleled.  Removing him from his position undermines all of the hard work that Coach Wydner has put in to placing many players into college baseball as well as positioning Merritt Island as the #1 baseball program in Brevard County (according to FHSAA 2024 MaxPreps Rankings).  What other direction would anyone like to go besides the trajectory that this program is already on under the leadership of Coach Wydner?  We need your support to bring him back so he can continue building on this legacy.  Please sign this petition to reinstate Head Coach Dan Wydner!
