After attempting to contact Twitter in regard to overturning Johnny Depp’s ban from the social media platform, Adam Waldman, an attorney who was representing Johnny Depp in his ongoing legal battles with ex-wife Amber Heard in the UK (but removed by the court for the US case for tweeting “private” information,  but publicly available, about the case), was informed by Twitter that Mr. Depp’s ban will be upheld.

Johnny Depp was silenced following the heinous allegations by ex-wife Amber Heard, by companies, organizations, and this social media platform.  He was also dropped from Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and Warner Bros’s Fantastic Beasts franchise, where he originally played the character, Grindewald.  

Now that the Fairfax County, Virginia case is underway, open to the media and the public eye, this petition is created to request that Johnny Depp’s verified Twitter account be reinstated.

Further, Johnny Depp deserves justice. He has been branded by allegations and not facts.  He is innocent until proven guilty, but has not been treated that way.  He deserves an apology by many and public support until evidence can prove him deserving of the backlash he has received since Amber Heard accused him of domestic violence and sexual assault.  So far, the evidence has only proven that Amber Heard is the only abuser.
