I am a proud TCU alum (Class of '11) and being born and raised in Fort Worth, a TCU Football fan my entire life. I have supported the TCU Football program in some way or another for the last three decades. I have seen the highs and lows. The trials and triumphs. The best era, undoubtedly, was during Gary Patterson's tenure as head coach.

Coach P led our team to more wins and had a more significant impact than any other coach in the program's history. He coached teams that won more than 170 games and made 17 bowl appearances, including the 2011 Rose Bowl victory, which garnered national attention and respect for TCU.

His firing led to instability within the program and the recent lack of success is a testament to that. Since he was fired, our win-loss record has suffered, impacting the morale of the team, the student fan base, and the overall TCU community. In the past 2 years, it's become more and more clear that the 2022 championship run was due to the championship-caliber team Gary Patterson put together in the years prior moreso than the current coaching regime.

Given Coach Patterson's illustrious past, the respect he commands, and the erstwhile success TCU Football experienced under his tenure, the only way forward for TCU Football to return to success is to remove the current coaching staff and rehire Gary Patterson immediately. His leadership, commitment, and football acumen are very well what the program needs to restore its past glory. I strongly believe that rehiring Coach Patterson is the best action for the TCU Football program.

I am asking fellow alumni, TCU community members, fans, and anyone who cares about the integrity of college football to join me in demanding the TCU Football administration to re-hire Gary Patterson as head coach and give the reins back to the most successful football coach in our history.
