Reinstate Faith Hudson as Executive Director of East Cobb

The Issue

As an employee at the Creme de la Creme, East Cobb location, I have witnessed firsthand the revolving door of directors since 2020. The constant turnover has led to a culture of disrespect and discrimination, nepotism and uncleanliness. We've experienced disorganization, lack of communication and unclear expectations. Our staff is overworked and underpaid with often times no lunch breaks.

However, all this changed when Miss Faith Hudson took over as Executive Director. She transformed our workplace by addressing these issues head-on through open communication and implementing feedback from both staff members and families alike. She encouraged us to embrace change and empowered her team.

Unfortunately, Miss Hudson was recently removed from her position without any clear reason given to us or the families we serve.

The week of 02/12, Miss. Faith was supposed to be on vacation for her birthday; however, she opened and closed the school that Monday. Lori Addison, was scheduled to open but not come until 10 AM because she claimed that she didn't know Miss. Faith would be out. When Miss. Faith asked Lori to work in a class, she refused and was sent home. Lori called Betsy on Miss. Faith but did not return. On 02/13 Miss. Faith celebrated her birthday with the students. She also was in the center on 02/14.

On 02/15 Miss. Faith was seen walking out the door shortly after Betsy arrived. When we reached out to Miss. Faith, she didn't respond. On 02/16 more than half of the staff called out and the school was severely understaffed and out of ratio. Betsy responded by bringing complete strangers into the building for support. Lunch breaks were once again not prioritized and Betsy's daughter Kaylyn, who no longer works for Creme was illegally working. Kaylyn informed her best friend Olivia that Miss. Faith was terminated. This information was also stated online.

Betsy then asked Ms. Coley, the art teacher to leave the school without cause. When Coley asked why, Betsy moved into her personal space to repeat herself. The teacher, with both hands in front of her stated, "I do not feel comfortable with you here" "I do not fee safe". Betsy responded by calling the police. Coley also told Lori that she should be ashamed of herself as she exited the school. Families were only notified because a parent observed the interaction, noticed the lack of original teachers, and told parents.

When teachers asked what was going on with Miss. Faith, during the meeting Monday morning 02/19, Betsy refused to give them an answer. However, Sydney Hart who lied and said that she was terminated was in attendance mocking staff who were saddened by Miss. Faith's departure. Instead of Betsy controlling the situation, she sent Olivia into the hall where Sydney taunted staff and asked her to go home. Olivia is not management.

Late evening on 02/19 families and staff received an email from Betsy Green, Regional Manager informing us of Miss. Faith's termination. She also stated that Denise would be present 02/20 however Betsy traveled to New Jersey and Ms. Denise did not come, knowing leaving our school without an Executive Director.

Whatever the reasoning behind Miss. Faith's termination we know that it is untrue. Several teachers observed Olivia sharing a staff email sent by Miss. Faith, asking staff to "BE ON TIME" and to "STOP GOSSIPING" with Betsy. According to Olivia and Kalyn this is why Miss. Faith is being terminated for "unprofessional communication".

There have been several false accusations spoken about this woman because of the positivity she brings. The tenured staff don't like the change and Miss. Faith runs our school single-handedly contrary to titles or beliefs. Tenured staff have been heard on several occasions openly speaking negatively about her at the reception desk and in the back office yet she still carries herself with grace and love.

We believe that reinstating Miss Faith Hudson will restore stability in our center's leadership which is crucial for maintaining a positive work environment for employees as well as providing quality service to the children we care for.

We urge you to reconsider your decision about Miss Hudson's role at our center. Please reinstate her immediately so she can continue making a difference in our community like she did before. Sign this petition if you stand with us in bringing back effective leadership at Creme de la Creme East Cobb location.

Right now as teachers we are unsure on how to navigate above Betsy. We are uncomfortable and don't feel safe in our job security. We believe this termination is firmly due to nepotism (which Betsy, Lynn, Lori, and Nadine deny but their Facebook pages speak the truth) and discrimination due to tenured staff having an allegiance to Betsy. They are her eyes and ears. We strongly ask that you please sign this petition and send complaints to:
