Reinstate Dressing Rooms in Goodwill Industries Stores

The Issue

I, like many others, frequent Goodwill Industries stores to find affordable clothing. However, the recent removal of dressing rooms has significantly impacted our shopping experience. We can no longer try on clothes before purchasing them. This not only hampers our ability to make informed decisions but also increases the likelihood of returns and exchanges - a hassle for both customers and staff.

Goodwill Industries is one of the largest nonprofit providers of education, training, and career services for people with disadvantages (such as welfare dependency, homelessness, and lack of education or work experience), as well as those with physical, mental and emotional disabilities. Last year alone they served more than 26 million individuals worldwide.

The decision to remove dressing rooms seems counterintuitive given that their mission is to enhance the dignity and quality of life for these individuals. Having access to fitting rooms where one can ensure clothing fits properly before purchase is a basic customer right that should be upheld.

We urge Goodwill Industries to reconsider this decision in light of its negative impact on customers' shopping experiences. Please sign this petition if you believe in restoring dressing rooms at Goodwill stores across the country.
