Reinstate Dr. Anna Rooney!

We would like to express our deep disappointment and regret at Boulder Community Hospital's decision to not renew the contract of our long term and trusted general practitioner, Doctor Anna Rooney. We have been left suddenly without our trusted primary care physician. While we are writing as a "small" group of patients, it does not  take much research to learn that Doctor Rooney is considered among the top highly respected and loved practitioners in the Boulder County area. This is why we find the BCH’s decision so incredibly surprising and incomprehensible. According to online reviews Doctor Anna Rooney is thorough in her examinations and explanations, always kind, and at times even administers vaccines herself. Furthermore, it is evident that many patients trust her so much, they bring their entire family to her care. Additionally, we feel this sudden decision was made without the input of or transparency to her patients, who were not notified in advance. It is for these reasons, that many of us are reluctant to further our health care with BCH. We kindly ask for transparency and a review of this case. Many of us have been with Dr. Rooney for 15 plus years. We believe we are owed the respect, transparency and acknowledgement of our input in your review.

 We want Boulder Community Hospital to reinstate Dr. Rooney immediately.
