Formal complaint sent to the Office of the Traffic Commissioner.

Since extending this petition to include Grangemouth and Skinflats, I've had a couple of replies from some councillors saying its had been dually noted and that the Head of Service has been asked to look into this.

I have also submitted a formal complaint to the Office of the Traffic Commissioner for Scotland with a link to this petition which I have marked as urgent.

I have detailed it as follows:

Operator Name: McGill’s Midland Bluebird
Location of Inadequacy: Falkirk Council Area (The Braes, Grangemouth, Skinflats, Polmont, and Larbert/FVRH)

1. Nature of the Complaint
This is a formal complaint regarding the systematic failure of McGill’s Midland Bluebird to provide a reliable, suitable, and punctual public bus service that meets the essential needs of the community under the Transport (Scotland) Act. The operator is actively turning a blind eye to severe public transport deficits along a critical healthcare and commuting corridor.

2. Evidence of Service Inadequacy and Public Detriment 
The FVRH Multi-Bus Penalty: Passengers traveling from Grangemouth or the Braes to Forth Valley Royal Hospital (FVRH) are forced into exhausting, multi-bus transfers via Falkirk Town Centre that take up to an hour and a half while an active car journey takes around 15 to 30 minutes. 
Forced Reliance on Private Taxis: Due to the complete elimination of direct connections, rural residents in Skinflats and rail commuters in Grangemouth are forced to pay premium fares for private taxis simply to access their primary regional hospital and local rail hub.
The 61% Commuter Disconnection: Despite official data confirming that 61% of Grangemouth rail commuters board trains to Edinburgh at Polmont Station, there is no direct public bus linking Grangemouth to Polmont Station.

3. Action Demanded
We request that the Traffic Commissioner launch an official investigation into McGill’s Midland Bluebird's local route registrations. The operator should be held accountable for failing to operate services in a manner that provides reasonable public utility for essential NHS staff, vulnerable patients, and daily commuters.

We have been ignored for far too long and we are fed up with McGill’s ignorance and corporate indifference and with Falkirk Council passing the buck. It is officially a crisis which cannot be ignored any longer.
