Coolmath Games, a popular educational gaming website, has been banned from use on Volusia County school computers. This decision impacts the learning experience of thousands of students in our county. The website offers a unique blend of fun and education, helping students to learn complex mathematical concepts through engaging games. According to the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, integrating games into teaching can enhance student understanding and interest in mathematics (NCTM). By banning Coolmath Games, we are denying our students an effective tool for learning.
