My daughter has been a part of the Brentwood Varsity Cheer team for the past two years and has also actively participated in the summer Cheer programs that Coach Tanisha Pessoa has successfully run over the years. Coach Tanisha is more than just a coach to us; she is an amazing mentor, dedicated and committed to her team. She has played an instrumental role in putting Brentwood Cheer on the map, building the program from the ground up to where it is today.

Coach Tanisha gives her everything to the team and this program. Her removal has not only disrupted the team's dynamics but has also left a void that is difficult to fill.

The decision to remove Coach Tanisha from her position seems unjust and has adversely affected these young athletes who look up to her for guidance, motivation, and support. As concerned parents, athletes, and members of the Brentwood community, we must rally together to ensure she returns to her rightful place.

Under Coach Tanisha's leadership, the cheer team has achieved new heights and garnered recognition both within and beyond our community. Her commitment has fostered a sense of unity and pride in our school's cheerleading team, making it a staple of school spirit and community events.
