I've witnessed the profound impact Coach Cook has had on the hockey team here in Waterloo. Unfortunately, recent events have led to the removal of Coach Cook and this decision has left many of us, including players and parents, confused and deeply saddened.

Coach Cook has been more than just a coach; he’s been a mentor and a role model for the children. Under his guidance, the team has not only improved their scores but has also developed a deeper camaraderie and a spirit of fair play and respect. His dedication, patience, and strategic insight have significantly contributed to the personal growth of each team member, building their confidence and enhancing their skills, both on and off the field. 

Statistics clearly show that teams led by Coach Cook has seen improvements, multiple League Championships, State Championships, and just recently 2025 Nationals Championship.

We understand there might be reasons behind the decision to remove him, but the benefits of his leadership far outweigh the cons. Therefore, it is crucial to reevaluate this decision for the well-being and future success of our team. Many players have expressed that without Coach Cook, their motivation and love for the game are at risk.
