Good day to all you Brave Frontier fans!

I just read the news -- I'm really starting to feel the pain. I'm sure we all are. We knew something like this was coming ever since Brave Frontier went on hiatus with content. We didn't want to believe this would have ever happened, but now it’s here... 

I've come to make a proposal -- one of which I've actually suggested a very long time ago in anticipation for a day like today. (As to no surprise, the request is in the title.)

Simply put: Make Brave Frontier an offline single-player game.

Now I'm not going to pretend that I understand all the technical details that might go behind getting this to work, but hear me out. I’ve made the very same suggestion way back in this (very dated, 6yo) Reddit post. 

Summarizing my Reddit post, I said that the entire game is primarily on our phones and that a server/online connection is needed for the moment-to-moment menu navigation to verify the requests to access content. In other words… we have 4GBs of game data on our phone, e.g. the game -- and when we try to load things like dungeons, the game contacts the server to verify that request then permits it, which allows us to begin the dungeon. A communication to the server is the only thing required to access anything. Remove that need, and we’ll have an offline Brave Frontier. While I’m aware content like Raid and Guild would be heavily impacted -- I’m sure there’s a way to either remove or rework them. Reading back on that post also reveals a chunks of what we have now: elemental themed Summon rotations, on-schedule Frontier Hunter, etc . If they can do that, then Alim/Gumi is capable of doing much more.

I want Brave Frontier to kept alive and reading posts after posts, comments after comments how players feel about losing this game hits hard in my heart. With its giant player base, KHUx had its game go into offline single-player mode, so it’s a feat that's possible. Why couldn't Brave Frontier?
