Reinstate BCT booking of IRDSA Hall, Craven Gardens to continue vital community services
Why this petition matters

Barkingside Community Trust (BCT) is a registered UK charity and was set up to run essential services for the local community.
This includes daily prayer services, education services, food bank distribution to the needy, aid to disaster locations, community events for multi-faith and non-faith members of the community, amongst other community outreach programs.
The organization has been serving the community since 2020 and has provided much needed support especially through Covid period and now faced with the cost of living crisis.
The charity runs its services from its venue in IRDSA, Hall Craven gardens and has been hiring it out since 2020.
However, without any notice or explanation the hall administrators (Barkingside Disability Thursday Club) who own the hall, have abruptly ceased the renewal of BCT hall hire bookings which will bring all the services that BCT provide to an abrupt stop at the end of this month.
This will bring major disruption to the community impacting daily prayers of worshipers, students enrolled in courses run by BCT, food distribution to the needy amongst others essential services.
This is unfair treatment of a charitable organization which provides essential services to the community. BCT trustees, volunteers, students, and the community urge that the Administrators of the hall reinstate BCT bookings with immediate effect.
