Mr. Arthur Pranno is the founder of the Florida Southern College String Orchestra Program. He has been a leader throughout the music department at Florida Southern College as well as the community. After 16 years he is being let go as the prior department chair and chairman of the fine and performing arts have come to the absurd conclusion that Pranno is "incompetent" as a professor. Students under the direction of Mr. Pranno as well as other students in the department and on campus respectfully decline this accusation and request for him to be reinstated as a professor for Florida Southern College. This information has just been released to his students, and many are in shock. Every year students are asked to fill out evaluations and Mr. Pranno has had all positive feedback as well as receiving teacher of the year in 2009. It is the wish of the administration to remove him and theirs alone. We the orchestra would greatly appreciate your signature in support of our cause.
