The Issue

When I first walked onto the campus of Fayetteville State University, I was met with both excitement and a touch of apprehension. What made the transition into this new chapter of my life so seamless was the first bond I formed with Mr. Adrian Williams, my academic advisor. He was more than just an advisor; he was a beacon of hope, encouragement, and a reliable supporter throughout my academic journey.

Adrian Williams was dismissed from his position without any clear reasoning, leaving a void not only in my life but also in the lives of countless students, faculty, and community members. He wasn't just a figure of administrative authority. He was a mentor who believed in us. He saw potential where others might overlook, setting high academic standards that made many of us strive for excellence. Mr. Williams made me believe I could achieve anything I set my mind to, and he was instrumental in helping me reach the Chancellor's List.

Beyond individual student success, his influence was palpable across campus. He played a pivotal role in the marching band and was a cornerstone in the Fayetteville State University campus, building bridges and fostering a culture of inclusivity and ambition.

Mr. Williams' unexpected termination has sent shockwaves through our community, robbing future students of the chance to experience his unique blend of tough love, support, and motivation. It’s a loss that impacts both current and future students, and I believe it’s unjust to deny this supportive presence to those who will walk the campus of FSU in the years to come.

Our goal is to have Adrian Williams reinstated in his position at Fayetteville State University. We urge the administration to reconsider their decision for the betterment of the school community. His leadership, dedication, and unwavering belief in student potential make him an irreplaceable asset to our university.

Please join me in advocating for Mr. Williams’ return. Sign this petition to help restore an invaluable mentor and friend to the FSU family. (At the end of Petition you do not have to donate just click No, I'll share instead)
