First South Yorkshire have altered the no 11 bus service to 47/48 but in doing this they have also changed its route meaning that neither service serve from Abney Road through Heely to the city centre instead they both use East Bank Road.  As chair of Gleadless Valley Tennants and Residents association we have had many of our members who feel upset and isolated  due to the decision first have made.  We urge that First re instate this route as soon as possible so that all who use this service are able to get out into the city centre.
