Petition for the Rehiring of the NHHS Tennis Team Coaches
We, the undersigned members of the tennis community, respectfully request the rehiring of our NHHS tennis team coaches, Cameron and Carsten Ball. Their leadership, dedication, and commitment to our program have had a profound and positive impact on both the athletic and personal development of our student-athletes.

Under their guidance, the team has demonstrated consistent improvement, strong sportsmanship, and a culture rooted in discipline, accountability, and mutual respect. Beyond competitive success, these coaches fostered an environment where athletes felt supported, motivated, and proud to represent their school. Their mentorship extended beyond the court, helping players grow in confidence, resilience, and teamwork.

The sudden loss of these coaches has created uncertainty and disruption within the program. Many athletes believe that rehiring them would restore stability, preserve the progress already made, and ensure the continued success and integrity of the tennis program.

We understand that administrative decisions are complex; however, we strongly believe that rehiring these coaches is in the best interest of the athletes, the program, and the broader school community. We respectfully ask that this decision be reconsidered and that the voices of those directly impacted be taken into account.
