The Issue

Mr. Zakowski, also known as Mr. Z to his students, is not just a teacher - he is a beacon of inspiration and support at our school, RHS. The impact he has on his students is profound, as he consistently goes above and beyond to ensure not only academic success, but personal growth and confidence in every student. His unique ability to engage students and make learning an enjoyable experience is unparalleled. Whether it's explaining complicated concepts in an easy-to-understand manner or offering heartfelt advice during tough times, Mr. Z is always there for his students.

Mr. Z's classroom is a space where all students feel welcome and inspired to learn. He crafts his lessons to cater to different learning styles, ensuring that no student is left behind. His dedication extends beyond just the curriculum – he actively works to build each student’s confidence and passion for learning. Many students have credited him with sparking an interest in subjects they previously found challenging or uninteresting.

Outside of class, Mr. Z continues to be a source of support, checking in on students both past and present, always ready to offer a listening ear and guidance. His genuine care for his students' well-being is evident in every interaction, making him not just a teacher, but a mentor and role model.

Unfortunately, due to staffing changes, Mr. Z's position at RHS is in jeopardy for the next school year. This petition is a call to action to retain a valuable and cherished member of our educational community. By signing, you are supporting not just a teacher, but an advocate for student success and well-being.

Join us in our efforts to ensure that Mr. Zakowski can continue to touch the lives of students at RHS, like he has for so many before. Please sign this petition to show your support for Mr. Z, so he can continue to inspire and positively impact our community.
