I am a resident of the UK who has been tormented by high frequency/Ultrasonic Gadgets for 18 months. Despite my pleas, Environmental Health did record something but weren't sure what it was so they are unable to assist me further, the local police told me to speak with my local Housing Torus whom done nothing to assist me This issue is not just personal; it's a public health concern that needs immediate attention.

High frequency/Ultrasonic these gadgets are made to keep Dogs / Cats off your lawn and it's not ok,  these sounds can cause serious health issues such as hair loss and hearing impairment, which I am personally experiencing and I know thousands more are too. Unfortunately there are no regulations in place to control the sale or use of these gadgets that emit high-frequency/Ultrasonic noise. This lack of regulation leaves ordinary citizens like me helpless against this form of noise pollution. I have Fibromyalgia which has made me hyper sensitive to noise, it makes me Nauseous, I get Headaches, Earache and heart palpitations and I know there are thousands more dealing with this noise issue 

The World Health Organization states that exposure to excessive noise can lead to psychological stress, sleep disturbances, cardiovascular diseases and mental health problems (WHO). It's time we take action against this silent menace affecting our communities.

We need stricter regulations on the sale and use of high-frequency gadgets in order to protect people from their harmful effects. We call upon our local counsellors and national lawmakers to address this issue urgently.
