'Oust' Simon Danczuk and others who conspire to subvert the will of Labour Party members

The Issue

Simon Danczuk, Labour MP for Rochdale, has publicly declared war on Labour Party members who are the very people he should be serving as a Labour member of parliament. Danczuk has said that he and others will conspire to remove Jeremy Corbyn from the head of the Labour Party if Corbyn should he become elected.

Regardless of your voting preference for the upcoming leadership election, such talk is unforgivable. As voters in this leadership election we have rights. The Labour Party began in the community and with the unions. To deny ordinary voting members their part in continuing to shape the party is outrageous, and deepest betrayal of our heritage. What's more, this is actually worse than what him and his allies are accusing 'renegade lefties' of doing by signing up to vote. The influence from the right wing has led some in the party like Danczuk to become convinced that the power that we unite to bring forth is not representing the public. Well ... we ARE the public.

This is not an attack on Danczuk's politics. He is entitled to his right-leaning view because the Labour Party has gone through many changes over the years. This however does not give him or others the right to usurp our vote, nor to engage in this type of public treachery that is only serving to demolish confidence in the Labour Party. Our Tory opposition must be LOVING this, and therefore we must oppose it in the strongest manner available to us.

So, please sign this petition which will be delivered to the heads of Labour Party. Your signature will help to preserve democracy in our party, and to serve as a warning to anybody who chooses to ignore our rights as voters in this and other important Labour Party decisions.

Thank you
