West Coast University has proposed taking away the right of nursing students to choose their own schedules within their academic plan. This will hamper the students ability to be able to work and spend time with their families. The school is expensive enough that the ability to work is essential. In addition, the students were not asked if this change would be acceptable. To that end, we propose that registration goes back to the old system allowing the students the ability to work a school schedule around their livelihoods or a vote on the registration system is taken.
