Growing up in Balloch I have countless  memories of riding with friends at Balloch Skatepark. It has been a place of joy, community, and passion for many of us over the years. However, as time has passed, the skatepark has fallen into disrepair, making it unsafe and less inviting to current and future riders of all ages.

The Balloch Skatepark, once a hub for young skaters now faces challenges such as worn-out ramps, uneven surfaces, and deteriorating structures. These issues not only diminish the thrill of skating but also pose safety risks. The skatepark deserves a full refurbishment to restore it to its former glory and ensure it remains a safe, accessible, and enjoyable space for everyone.
