Waubonsie Valley High School, like any other educational establishment, is a place of learning meant to prepare its students for their future. My concerns stem from the fact that, with a mere ten minutes between school ending and buses leaving, many of our students are rushed into quickly exiting the school premises. 
This rush paired with the fact that teen drivers are almost three times more likely to get into accidents than adult drivers creates a hotspot for potential accidents, endangering not just the teen drivers but also the pedestrians involved.
I call on the administration of Waubonsie Valley High School to reevaluate and restructure the parking lot and dismissal timings to prevent accidents. Please sign this petition to help keep our students safe.
