As many of my friends and family are dissatisfied with the results of the 2020 election. The biggest upset I keep hearing is about how the metro always decides the state for everyone.

yes, I am fully aware of the population differences of rural to metro. Rural Minnesota deserves their voice to be heard too.

Minnesota could and should adopt the same style system that Maine used when it comes to electoral votes for president. It will show a better representation of the state as a whole.

Minnesota is divided into 8 congressional districts. I believe that each district should get their own electoral vote. The remaining 2 electoral votes would go to popular vote.

that is the same way Maine divides theirs since they also have 2 “leftover”

congressional districts are also divided by population. So it would be a fair way to split everything.
