I am deeply passionate about clean energy. The urgency for accessible clean energy solutions across Ireland has never been greater. According to the World Nuclear Association, nuclear energy produces near-zero greenhouse gas emissions during operation and considerably low lifecycle emissions overall. This makes it very effective in countering the effects of climate change. With over 450 nuclear power reactors operating in 30 countries worldwide, it is clear that nuclear is not only feasible but beneficial for energy production.

We need Ireland to reconsider its policy. Every day that the ban stands, we lose more ground in the fight against climate change. It's time for us to embrace all forms of clean energy, including nuclear. By leveraging nuclear energy, Ireland can take a substantial step towards a sustainable future.
