The Recreational and Physical Activity Center (RPAC) at Ohio State University is a bustling hub of student activity, providing the community with health, wellness, and recreation services. A vital part of enhancing the student experience at RPAC has been the presence of the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, which has recently been removed. This machine offered students an array of drink options, allowing them to customize and enjoy their favorite Coca-Cola beverages—ranging from classic sodas to flavored waters and teas—tailored to their individual taste preferences.
The removal of the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine has been met with disappointment from numerous students who frequented RPAC daily. Not only did the machine offer a much-needed refreshment option, but it also allowed students the flexibility and joy that comes from being able to create more than 100 different drink combinations, appealing to the unique taste of each individual.
For university students who balance rigorous academic schedules with physical activities, quick and accessible hydration solutions are essential. The variety and convenience provided by the Freestyle machine made it easier for students to stay hydrated and maintain their energy levels throughout the day.
