I have heard from other students how this teacher is giving more homework than any other teacher combined. We are constantly having huge projects among other homework from classes like HWAS and Chemistry. These projects are not quick, they take a lot of time for each assignment. One of our current projects, the Hero's Journey Project, we had to read a 250 page minimum historical fiction book then make a packet with a paragraph about each step of the hero's journey and have drawn graphics. For the other class, they only had to watch a movie and make a quick group presentation. These are two very different projects for two teachers teaching the same subject. In the other class, they are having very little homework and everything done in class because they are having a lot easier projects. They should be teaching similar assignments and be talking to other teachers about what they are giving their students. We need to show this teacher that we have more homework than just her class. Lets make a change in her teaching.
