The issue

Growing up in a family with a rich legacy of defending and building this country, I find it painful to watch as the necessities that keep our nation running become unaffordable. My grandfathers, mothers, uncles, and aunts dedicated their lives to Australia. They responded with love and duty whenever the call came during times of need. They were passionate about this land, and so am I.

Diesel fuel, once a by-product of petrol, has become more expensive than ever before. This is a pressing issue because Australia runs on diesel. Remote communities, especially in regions like Far North Queensland and the Northern Territory, rely heavily on diesel generators. This is not just an inconvenience; it challenges the very foundations of how our communities sustain themselves daily.

I urge the one nations,Liberal, Labor, National parties, and Greens to prioritize this matter seriously. Stop using excuses and political rhetoric to justify the soaring prices. Our nation depends on a steady and affordable supply of diesel to keep moving forward. We cannot let greed and misinformation dominate policies that impact our lives directly.

This petition calls for an assessment and restructuring of diesel pricing policies to ensure that it remains affordable for all Australians. Our leaders must recognize the burden these elevated costs place on everyday Australians—individuals and families who rely on diesel as an essential part of their livelihood.

Stand with me in demanding accountability and transparency in how diesel prices are determined. We must ensure that the sacrifices of those who defended this nation are honored through fair and just economic policies. Let us join together to ensure Australia remains a country where people are prioritized over profit.

Please sign this petition to demand that our government takes immediate action to reduce diesel prices in Australia. It is time for change, and it begins with us.
