PROBLEM: Plastic pollution has invaded every part of life on Earth. It’s killing wild life, poisoning ecosystems, food, air and water we depend on.

REASON: People find single-use plastics easy to use, we demand it and companies produce it. When we leave it in nature, it doesn’t disappear—it shatters into smaller and smaller pieces. These become micro- and nanoplastics.

SOLUTION: People must diminish single-use plastic comsumption. If we decrease our demand, single-use plastic production will also decrease. 

We can avoid the use of most common single-use plastics, plastic straws, spoons, forks and plastic water bottles in TED Schools. 

Here is how we can contribute in TED Schools:

1.Plastic straws, spoons, forks and plastic bottles of water must be banned by the school administration. Enough amount of water dispensers must be located for students.
2.Students must avoid demanding these items and bring dureable and re-usable bottles, spoons, forks, lunckbox and snacks from home.
