Thousands of children and families in Gaza are suffering daily. They are running hungry and thirsty, there is help that could be brought to them. This situation is not just a statistic; it's personal, it hurts the world. As such, we propose a solution that would benefit these individuals while also reducing waste.

Hotels and cruises around the world generate thousands of gallons of good, fresh food - leftovers that often end up in the trash. According to the Food Waste Reduction Alliance (FWRA), 84% of unused food in American restaurants ends up being disposed of while only 1.4% is donated.

We ask for this surplus food in the United States as well as all other country’s who have such food waste to be redirected towards those who need it most - the children, women, men and families in Gaza who lack access to basic human rights like food, water and health benefits during this terrible time.
