Many states have in recent years decided to redesign their state flags.  Many state flags, including Kansas, do not have a flag that accurately reflects the current state (or follows any of the guidelines for official flag design).

I believe we should redesign the state flag with a local artist and have it voted in by the Kansas Legislature.

I believe that it will give new energy to our state with a bold new flag design and people will have new pride in seeing a beautiful new flag flying next to the US and city flags.
