Rededicate the Class of 2024 Yearbook to Tammy Siefke, not James Watt

Rededicate the Class of 2024 Yearbook to Tammy Siefke, not James Watt
The Issue
It has come to our attention that the intended dedication of the Class of 2024's yearbook needs reconsideration. At present, the honor is given to James Watt, a man faced with scandalous charges, including 45 counts of "Illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material". This is a grave concern for parents, students, faculty, and community members who expect our education system to celebrate role models for our children. We propose a change; let's instead honor Tammy Siefke, a woman deeply loved by students, staff, and our community alike. Her commitment and impact on our community far outweigh any positive impact Watt might have had. Choosing to honor Tammy will send a powerful message to our students about the types of individuals we should aspire to be. If they've already been printed recall them from the student body and reprint them, use the time and cost of printing new books to reflect on all the children who had tried to tell you about this man over the years.
Please sign the petition to show your solidarity on this matter.
