There are many poorly sighted people who think the upvote arrow is red when it is clearly more orange. It is a sad reality of today's society that we must not tolerate any longer. We need a way for them to understand the difference between orange and red, and the best way we can do that is by making the downvote arrow red. Only then will they realize how wrong they are. There are many other reasons it should be red as well. The color red has many negative associations such as anger and a strong disliking or hatred. Those things are also what is represented when downvoting a post. It only makes sense that it should be red, and doing so will also show how different the two colors are.
