My name's David. I'm an artist, designer, and transgender man. Like a lot of people, I use Redbubble to sustain myself. It allows me to upload my designs and put them on various forms of merchandise without having to buy the stock and print it myself. This is great, and I have gotten a decent amount of income from Redbubble. However, it's harder for me to share it around because it has my former name (or as it's known in the trans community, deadname) on there.

My deadname is in the URL of every listing I have made. It is what people would see if they searched up a keyword and saw a design of mine. It is in the URL of my profile. If I want to show people a way to support me, they have to be exposed to a name I no longer go by, and want to be disassociated with. Instead, they have no choice and have to see it whether they like it or not. And I cannot change or fix this.

It's not uncommon for sites to allow you to change your handle. This in itself would not interfere with the URLs, as Redbubble URLs already change when you change the title of your work. Adding this feature would not only be beneficial for users such as myself, but those who are simply embarrassed by their older handles. Please consider my offer, I'm sure this is past due.
