Get Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy to call one last Red Sox game together.
Why this petition matters
Growing up one of my favorite things to do was tune into NESN for Red Sox games and listen to Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy call games. They had fun, talked about the game of baseball, and genuinely enjoyed their time broadcasting together. Their jokes and laughs always brought smiles and laughter into my home, even if it was just me smiling and laughing. I know it doesn't seem like much but around Massachusetts Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy are legends, at least to me they are. The voices of the Red Sox for TV for many years should have one last broadcast together whenever the Padres and Red Sox play next, hopefully 2022 or 23, and have it broadcasted on both the Padres and Red Sox respective networks. The impact Don has had in Boston will last for lifetimes. His famous calls will echo in our minds as we tell our kids about the 2004 Red Sox and how we became the best team in baseball after that. If Don and Jerry were able to call one last game together after over 12 months of heartbreak and tragedy throughout the country it could bring happiness to many fans across the states. Red Sox Nation lives everywhere and Don lives in our hearts. From one Red Sox fan to another, I would love to see and hear Don Orsillo call one more for the BoSox.
