Öğrencilerin, öğretmenlerin, personellerin ve toplumun sağlığı adına yapılan bu gerekli önlemlerim ister istemez eğitim kalitemizi büyük ölçüde etkilediği ortadadır. Her şeye rağmen derslerin iptal olmaması ve öğretime devam edilmesi gerektiğinin farkındayız.

Uzaktan eğitime bir nebze alışmış olsakta hepimizi kaygılandıran bazı durumlar bulunmakta; elektrik kesintisi, internet problemleri, sistem problemleri vb.

1. En önemlisi ise, sınav sırasında önceki soruya dönemeyecek olmamızdır. Bu durumda karşımıza çıkan her soruyu atlamadan yapmamız gerekmekte olup, sınav süremizi doğru yönetmemize engel olacaktır.
Yüz yüze sınavlarda bu iki olayı yönetebiliyoruz. Önce kolay olan soruları yanıtlayıp, zor olan sorulara geçiyoruz. Fakat bu sistemde bununla başa çıkabilme imkanımız yoktur.
Bu kararı değiştirmenizi rica ediyoruz.

 2. DAÜ senatosunun belirttiği üzere sınav süresi ara sınavlar için en fazla 90 dakika, finaller için en fazla 180 dakikadır. Bu sistemde bize verilen süreler bu kadar olmamakla birlikte
sınav sırasında elektriklerin kesilmesi, internet bağlantısının kesilmesi, sistemin yavaşlaması gibi birçok problemle karşı karşıya durumumuz olduğu gibi geçtiğimiz dönemde bu problemler yaşanmıştır. Bu yüzden sınav sürelerimizin tekrar gözden geçirilmesini istemekteyiz..

KKTC,Türkiye, Iran ve diğer Asya ülkelerinde yükleme sırasında her zaman bir sorun olduğu bir gerçektir. Çünkü yükleme hızı her zaman indirme hızından daha düşüktür. Cevaplarımızı yüklerken bu ciddi bir sorundur.

3. Sınav toplantılarında sayıca çok olan öğrenciler ile öğretmenler arasında olan diyaloglardan dolayı dikkatimiz çok dağılmaktadır. Bu yüzden birkaç toplantı olması sınav esnasında sessizlik adına öğrencilere daha faydalı olacaktır.
   
4. Yapılan derslerin kaydedilerek moodle sistemine yükleneceği söylenmiş olsa da bazı sebeplerden dolayı bunu yapamamış öğretmenlerimiz bulunmaktadır. Haliyle MOODLE sisteminin düzgün çalışmadığını, bazı eksikliklerin bulunduğunu görmekteyiz.

   
Tüm bu yazılanlar doğrultusunda sınav kurallarında değişikliğe gitmeniz konusunda rica ediyoruz. Bu zor dönemde sırf zamanı yönetme stresiyle başarısız olabileceğimiz kaygısıyla sınavlara girmek bizi daha fazla strese sokmaktadır.

While we support all efforts to safeguard the health and safety of students, staff and the wider community, it is clear that our educational experience has been highly compromised by these changes. Although we understand the university’s efforts to proceed with teaching and avoid complete cancellation of classes.

It is the second semester that is Online and all of us have many problems such as; internet connection problems, internet speed problems etc.

According to new exam rules of EMU and other universities there are some new rules that our teachers told us. In addition we will face problems with these rules as we faced during our quizzes during semester;

1. The most important one, DURING EXAM WE WILL NOT ABLE TO GO BACK TO PREVIOUS QUESTION ONCE WE ANSWERED IT, We must answer each question in the order they appear;
So how are we going to manage our time? In a face-to-face exam we manage the questions and time. We answer the easy ones first, after that try to think more for other questions, but in this format we must answer the question even we do not know the correct answer in that time due to any reason as we did in quizzes! It is not FAIR and a right examination method also stressful.

2. As mentioned by EMU senate exam period is max. 90 minutes for mid-terms and max. 180 minutes for finals.

This is a good time period but only in face-to-face exams. During an online exam students may face lots of technical problems such as loosing internet connection, reducing in internet speed etc. These are the problems we always see during our lectures and quizzes in *IRAN, *TURKEY even *TRNC (Asian Countries). So we need logical time to finish our exam without stress.

It is a fact that in TRNC and other Asian countries there is always a problem during uploading. Because upload speed is always less than download speed. This is a serious problem while we upload our answers

 3. Although it is said that the lessons will be saved and uploaded to the moodle system, there are some teachers who could not do this for some reasons. Consequently, we see that the MOODLE system does not work properly and there are some deficiencies. 

 4. The exam meetings are noisy during the exam. As happened before, students and teachers can talk to each other during exam.

Kindly, We ask you to change some rules of examination otherwise most of us will have problem. We may fail the courses just due to stress of managing our time. The stressful one is first rule.
