Recreate the seasonal swimming pool and support a year-round wildlife refuge at the Keeler Plunge site in Keeler California, a historic pool, hand dug in 1927. The pool and artesian well were originally a community asset, and the opportunity exists again. Situated between Death Valley and Mt. Whitney on the edge of the Owens Dry Bed Lake. Keeler is an unrecognized oasis. This petition is to express interest in the care, preservation and historic development of the site.
