Currently Oak Grove School District 68 does not record, publish or livestream their Board Meetings. This policy severely restricts parental knowledge and involvement in school issues and discussions by limiting parental access.

Many parents work long hours, have insufficient child care, or simply cannot attend at the exact time and date of the Board Meetings. Failure to record, publish and livestream these meetings essentially cuts off a huge number of parents from having any meaningful involvement in discussions or decisions of the School Board. 

Oak Grove School District 68 should immediately change this policy not only in an effort to promote and aid parental involvement, but to further transparency, honesty and accountability in School Board meetings. 

Please sign this petition to let the administration and Oak Grove School Board members know that you want all School Board meetings from this point forward recorded, published and live-streamed.
