Tristan Barber's story is one that resonates deeply with those who understand the complex interplay between environment and personal choices. I've come to know Tristan personally and have witnessed firsthand the struggles he's faced. Surviving daily is a challenge that many of us are fortunate not to experience. Financial hardship and difficult life circumstances have often painted a bleak picture of his life. Yet, despite these challenges, I believe in Tristan’s potential and his capacity for change.

Recently, Tristan was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for his involvement in illegal activities—activities that I firmly believe were more a consequence of his environment influencing his choices than his character in itself.
