The Aber Valley very much needs a new health centre. However, the chosen site (on the Green outside the YMCA) is raising many concerns for residents:

• The local children, the schools, the YMCA and residents all use the green for recreation.
• The traffic situation already causes problems and the increased volume of traffic caused by building the health centre there would heighten the chance of an accident and make congestion worse.
• The loss of a greenfield site when there are so many brownfield and greyfield sites available seems environmentally unsound.
