We, the undersigned parents, students, alumni, and community members of Stockbridge Community Schools, respectfully ask the district to reconsider the decision to remove Girls Varsity Basketball Coach Jon.

Under his leadership, the girls basketball program achieved its first District Championship in 26 years, advanced to the Regional Finals, and earned Academic All-State honors with a team GPA of 3.7. More importantly, Coach Jon created a positive culture that supported these student-athletes both on and off the court while bringing pride and unity back to the community.

This decision impacts not only the future of the basketball program, but also the student-athletes who have dedicated themselves to its growth and success. We believe the progress, leadership, mentorship, and opportunities Coach Jon has provided deserve serious consideration.

We respectfully ask Stockbridge Community Schools to reconsider this decision and listen to the voices of the players, parents, alumni, and community members who support this program and its future.
