My children, like many others in the Jersey Shore Area School District, have a passion for swimming and dream of being part of the school swim team. The proposed moratorium on the swim team due to budget cuts is a decision that places an undue burden on our students, denying them the opportunities they deserve to excel, build character, and enjoy their school years.

Swimming isn't just an extracurricular activity; it is a valuable part of our children's education that contributes to their physical health, provides them with essential life skills, and promotes teamwork and discipline.
