The new dress code is disliked by many students and parents, it’s too limiting on how students express themselves, and can make students feel insecure and clothing can help them feel secure. In addition to that, it can force families without much money to go out and buy clothing they can't afford, although there is a system for that exact purpose most families in need of clothing may not be able to access it or may not even know about it.
