Recommendations For Lego On How To Improve Their Video Games:

Note: In order to keep things simple, I will refer to controller buttons by their Playstation names.

Future Lego video games should be exclusive to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in order to take advantage of the power of the latest home video game consoles and PCs.

The in-game subtitles should be bigger than they are in "Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham". The controls in Lego video games should no longer be limited to a few buttons.

There should be a freeflow combat system.

Both 3rd-person & 1st-person perspectives should be usable, with customizable options like in the enhanced version of "Grand Theft Auto 5". Changing between 1st-person & 3rd-person perspectives and selecting which of the customizable options will be used should be done under "Options" in the pause menu. Obviously, the 1st-person perspective should turn off when a character is in a freeflow combat situation and then turn back on after the freeflow combat situation has ended.

Tools(firing weapons, bladed weapons, batons, shields, explosives, boomerang-type weapons, etc), packs(jetpacks, wingpacks, parachutes, etc), special abilities(cloaking, forward charge attacks, roaring, etc), & drones(such as the one that Robin(Tim Drake) can use while wearing his Techno Suit in "Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham") for characters & vehicles should be selected by pressing the Up D-Pad Button and pressing the X Button after highlighting the chosen tool, pack, special ability, or drone.

All firing weapons(guns, bows-&-arrows, crossbows, webshooters, hand repulsors, missile launchers, etc, and hands, tails, mouths, etc used to shoot projecticles) should have rapid fire and bladed weapons, batons, shields, & explosives should be able to be thrown rapidly, held by characters after being selected, and used while being held by pressing the Square Button. Boomerang-type weapons should also be rapidly usable.

There should be an on/off option that allows for all tools, packs, special abilities, & drones that are usable for specific playable characters to be usable for all playable characters(including custom characters) in freeplay, and for all tools, packs, special abilities, & drones that are usable for specific drivable vehicles to be usable for all drivable vehicles(including custom vehicles) in freeplay.

Jumping should be done by pressing the X Button and superjumping(which should be able to be done rapidly) for characters & vehicles that have that ability should be done by holding the X Button.

Punching/kicking should be done by pressing the Square Button.

The grabbing of objects(such as enemies) should be done by holding the Square Button.

For a character like Scorpion(Mac Gargan), when their tail is being used as a tool, the tail should be used to hit by pressing the Square Button, grab by holding the Square Button, fire its projectile by using the R2 Button, and pull an object(such as an enemy) closer by double-pressing the R2 Button. This control scheme should also be used for when the tongue of a character like Toad is being used as a tool.

Combat-rolling(which should be able to be done rapidly) should be done by holding the Circle Button.

Players should be able to counter enemy attacks during hand-to-hand combat by pressing the Triangle Button.

Unlocked character skins & vehicle skins should be selected by holding the Triangle Button and then pressing the X Button after highlighting the chosen character skin or vehicle skin.

Aiming should be done with the L2 Button, while firing & throwing should be done with the R2 Button.

After a special ability has been selected with the Up D-Pad Button, it should be used by pressing the L1 Button & the R1 Button.

After a pack has been selected with the Up D-Pad Button, it should be used by pressing the L2 Button & the R2 Button.

Blocking should be done by keeping the L1 Button & the L2 Button held down.

Swinging for characters like Spider-Man, Venom, & Carnage, Mr Fantastic, Black Widow & Hawkeye, Batman and his sidekicks, and Catwoman should be done by repeatedly holding down & letting go of the R1 Button. Also, like in the "Batman: Arkham" video game series, there should be spots(which become highlighted when characters are at a certain distance from them and the in-game camera has them in sight) that can be quickly grappled to by pressing the R1 Button and quickly rappelled to by holding the R1 Button. Note: A swinging/grappling tool or rappelling tool should not have to be selected from the tools selection in order for this to work. However, when there are multiple unlocked swinging/grappling tools and rappelling tools in the tools selection, one of each of those types of tools should have to be chosen for a save feature, in which the tools that have been chosen will be the ones that are used for quickly grappling and quickly rappelling to highlighted spots. Swinging/grappling tools should also be usable in the same way that other firing tools are used, except shooting at objects(like enemies) with swinging/grappling tools should pull said objects toward the player's character.

While moving, superspeed(which should be infinitely usable) for characters & vehicles that have that ability should be used by double-pressing the Triangle Button.

Flying/hovering for characters & vehicles that have that ability should be triggered by holding the L1 Button.

Transformations for characters(Ex: Hulk being able to turn into Bruce Banner and vice versa.) & vehicles that have them should be triggered by pressing the L3 Button and should be doable even when in motion(including when flying/hovering and falling).

Double-pressing the L3 Button should cause a character to go from either bipedal movement to quadrupedal movement or quadrupedal movement to bipedal movement, depending on which form of movement the character was using.

Pressing the R3 Button should cause a character to hold up a shield from the tool selection while using a non-shield tool. When this feature is used, the character should be able to hit objects(such as enemies) with the shield by pressing the Circle Button. When there are multiple unlocked shields in the tool selection, one of those shields should have to be chosen for a save feature, in which the shield that has been chosen will be the one that is used when the player presses the R3 Button to use a shield while also using a non-shield tool.

Holding the R3 Button should cause a character to crouch.

Characters that are capable of wall-scaling and superspeed should be able to go superspeeding up a building by either moving toward it and double-pressing the Triangle Button or double-pressing the Triangle Button while wall-scaling. In addition to being able to start wall-scaling by superjumping at a building and being able to go superspeeding up a building by superjumping at it while already at superspeed, characters should be able to start wall-scaling by pressing the Circle Button while at a building.

Vehicle movement should be caused solely by using the left analog stick(like character movement) and should not require keeping a button held down.

In scenarios where 2 characters are working together, a player should be able to switch which of the 2 characters they are playing as by pressing the Left D-Pad Button(rather than by pressing the Triangle Button, as was done in previous Lego video games). In scenarios where more than 2 characters are working together, a player should be able to switch which of the characters they are playing as by pressing the Left D-Pad Button & a specific other button(rather than by pressing the Triangle Button, as was done in previous Lego video games). For example, in a scenario where Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, and Nick Fury are working together, pressing the Left D-Pad Button & the X Button should switch to Spider-Man, pressing the Left D-Pad Button & the Square Button should switch to Iron Man, pressing the Left D-Pad Button & the Circle Button should switch to Hulk, and pressing the Left D-Pad Button & the Triangle Button should switch to Nick Fury.

Team-Up Moves should be triggered by pressing the L1 Button & a specific other button.

After being selected with the Up D-Pad Button, the claws of playable characters should be placed on the correct spots on their hands that they are supposed to be on. For example, Wolverine's claws should be placed on the middle areas of the backs of his hands and Black Panther's claws, which should be purple in order to match with his costume, should be placed on the spots where the tips of his fingers would be.

A vision mode like that of the "Batman: Arkham" video game series should be turned on by pressing the L1 Button, and players should be able to use a specific unlocked vision-type by pressing the Down D-Pad Button(after turning on the vision mode by pressing the L1 Button) and then selecting the chosen vision-type from an on-screen vision-type selection by pressing the X Button.

All of the on/off tweaks should be unlocked after the story has been finished.

The playable character selection screen & the drivable vehicle selection screen, map screens, a character bio selection screen, an upgrade selection screen, and the on/off tweak selection screen should be brought up by pressing the Select Button.

The tweaks in Lego video games should stay on after being turned on, so that they don't have to be turned back on every time the games are played. Big characters, such as Hulk, Rhino, Kingpin(who does not have superstrength), Juggernaut, Lizard, and Thing, should be resized in order to be more accurately sized next to the regular size characters. Kingpin, Lizard, and Rhino are only 6-7 feet tall, while Hulk, Thing, Abomination, and Juggernaut are 8-9 feet tall, and they should be accurately portrayed as such in the games. The humanoid duck characters should be accurately sized, including their feet. Basically, all characters should be accurately sized. In fact, all objects should be accurately sized & shaped. All character weights should be accurately represented. Big characters, humanoid animal characters, and regular animal characters should be able to drive/ride around in vehicles and build(depending on the intelligence levels of the characters). Vehicles taken from civilians should be able to be saved & customized, like in "GTA" games, including vehicles that have been damaged, which should be able to be saved & customized in both damaged form and undamaged form.

In all future Lego video games, playable characters & drivable vehicles should not have to be purchased in-game after "unlocking" them. All alternate skins & versions of a playable character should be put in that character's costume wheel instead of being put in the playable character selection as seperate characters. For example, the "Batman Classic TV Series" version of Batman(Bruce Wayne) should be included in the Batman(Bruce Wayne) costume wheel, but Batman(Terry McGinnis) should be put in the playable character selection as a seperate character because of the fact that he is a seperate character. All of this should also apply to drivable vehicles. For example, the "Batman Classic TV Series" version of the Batmobile should be included in the Batmobile costume wheel, but the Batmobile used by Batman(Terry McGinnis) should be put in the drivable vehicle selection as a seperate vehicle because of the fact that it is a seperate vehicle. There should be an on/off tweak that causes all unlockable characters & vehicles, character skins & vehicle skins, and character bios to be unlocked after the story has been finished. There should be an on/off tweak that causes all unlockable upgrades to be unlocked after the story has been finished.

Like in "Batman: Arkham Knight", there should be showcase galleries.

Cutscenes should be pausable, rewindable, and fast-forwardable.

The arm pose that's used by a character when they are firing a firing tool should depend on what firing tool is being used by them.

In the next Lego video game based on Marvel materials, Howard The Duck should be voiced by Chip Zien, there should be a level based on "Toei's Spider-Man", and the amount of playable characters, without counting the ones that are DLC, should be over 200.

In the next Lego video game based on DC materials, Batman should be voiced by Kevin Conroy, Nightwing(Dick Grayson) should be voiced by Scott Menville, Joker should be voiced by Troy Baker, Slade Wilson(Deathstroke) should be voiced by Ron Perlman, Beast Boy should be voiced by Greg Cipes, Cyborg should be voiced by Khary Payton, Batgirl and Raven should be voiced by Tara Strong, Starfire should be voiced by Hynden Walch, Terra should be voiced by Ashley Johnson, Ra's Al Ghul should be voiced by David Warner, and Harley Quinn should be voiced by either Arleen Sorkin or someone that can do the same Harley Quinn voice as Arleen Sorkin. Gotham City, Arkham Island, Metropolis, the Fortress of Solitude, the Watchtower, the Hall of Justice, the Hall of Doom, the Lantern Worlds, and Star City should be explorable locations in the game. Arkham Island should be much larger and its layout should be like that of "Batman: Arkham Asylum". All of Wayne Manor should be explorable, including Bruce Wayne's study and its entrance into the Batcave, the grandfather clock's entrance into the Batcave, and the wine cellar and its entrance into the Batcave. Gotham City should be larger. Wayne Manor and, obviously, the Batcave should be at a much more accurate distance away from Gotham City. There should be bonus levels based on the classic "Adventures of Superman" TV series(this level should be in color and not in black-&-white), the classic Wonder Woman TV series, the classic Batman TV series(the versions of the playable characters from this level should not have the pop-up fight captions(See the next sentence!)), and the DCAU. There should be an on/off tweak that causes fight captions to pop-up when in combat. There should be an on/off tweak that turns everything from being in color to being in black-&-white. Not only should Danny Elfman's Batman scores be used, but also the Batman theme that was created by Shirley Walker, Elliot Goldenthal's Batman scores, Hans Zimmer's Batman scores, John Williams's Superman scores, and Hans Zimmer's Superman score. Whenever the player flies as Supergirl, the Supergirl theme from the live-action 1984 Supergirl movie should play in the background, and whenever the player flies as Superdog(Krypto), the theme from the animated TV series "Krypto The Superdog" should play in the background. Bathound(Ace) should be listed as "Bathound" when in-costume and "Ace" when out-of-costume, and the same should go for Superdog(Krypto), Supercat(Streaky), Supermonkey(Beppo), and Superhorse(Comet The Horse). The dog that Bruce Wayne has as an old man after retiring from being Batman, who is also named "Ace", should be listed as "Ace The 2nd". The amount of playable characters, without counting the ones that are DLC, should be over 200.

When a "Lego Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" video game is made, there should be an on/off tweak that turns everything from being in color to being in black-&-white, and there should be bonus levels based on the original TMNT comic book series(this level should be in color and not in black-&-white), the 1987 animated TMNT TV series, the original live-action TMNT film series, the 2003 animated TMNT TV series, and the 2014 live-action TMNT film. There should be an on/off tweak that turns the bandanas of the original TMNT comic book series versions of Leo, Mikey, and Donnie from being red to being blue for Leo, orange for Mikey, and purple for Donnie. The amount of playable characters, without counting the ones that are DLC, should be over 200. The 2012 TMNT theme, the 1987 TMNT theme, and the 2003 TMNT theme should be used.

There should be a new Lego video game titled "Lego The Hobbit and The Lord of The Rings: The Remastered Collection" that not only contains ALL of the content from the Lego video games titled "Lego The Lord of The Rings" and "Lego The Hobbit", as well as a new section that's based on the film titled "The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies", but also allows players to journey across & explore through ALL of Middle-earth either with or without the use of fast-traveling. Enabling players to journey across & explore through ALL of Middle-earth manually would allow them to have a long trip that's similar to the one that the members of the Fellowship of The Ring had. Characters that were introduced in the video game titled "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor" should be playable. The game should be slightly more serious than the games "Lego The Lord of The Rings" and "Lego The Hobbit" were. In the story modes of this and future remasters of previous movie-based Lego video games, ALL character deaths should be depicted. For this and future remasters of previous Lego video games, ALL of the previously mentioned recommendations for future Lego video games should be taken into account.

The first M-rated Lego video game should be "Lego The Terminator", which should be based on the films "The Terminator", "The Terminator 2: Judgment Day", "The Terminator 3: Rise of The Machines", "Terminator: Salvation", and "Terminator: Genisys", and should have 6 or 7 levels for each film. Players should be able to free-roam through ALL of the noteworthy locations from the films. Players should be able to make their own custom Terminators.

For "Lego Dimensions 2", all of the content(including roamable areas) of "Lego Dimensions" and other Lego video games that a player has unlocked or created(like custom characters and custom vehicles) should be accessible for use. "Lego Dimensions 2" should have a mode like the Toy Box Mode of the "Disney Infinity" video games. The following properties should be used for "Lego Dimensions 2": "The Mask", "Land of The Lost"[1974], "Men In Black", "Transformers", "Pokemon", "Super Mario", "Donkey Kong", "Pac-Man", "Space Ghost", "Tom & Jerry", "Looney Tunes", "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", "Star Trek"(both the original timeline and the Kelvin Timeline), "Planet of The Apes"(the reboot franchise started with "Rise of The Planet of The Apes"), "Independence Day", "Small Soldiers", "Kingsman", "Game of Thrones", "The Walking Dead", "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters", "Peanuts", "Winnie The Pooh", "Dragon Ball", and "Rocky" & "Creed".
