The universe is enhanced by animations, and more recently, series like “The Mandalorian” and “Obi-wan Kenobi” that stay true to the essence of this beloved franchise. However, the arrival of "The Acolyte" has not only confounded the continuity of the saga but also arguably mocks the universe that we fans have come to appreciate and adore.

With this petition, I aim to bring to light the discontent many of us feel regarding "The Acolyte's" standing as canon in the Star Wars universe. The latest series substantially deviates from the established storylines, introducing incongruities that challenge the narrative consistency. This series seems more apropos as a spin-off rather than a canonical part of the Star Wars narrative.

By having "The Acolyte" recognized as a spin-off, we can preserve the integrity of our cherished Star Wars universe, respecting its rich history and dedicated fandom. Understand that this appeal does not intend to remove the current produced episodes but rather to call for a reclassification of its status within the Star Wars continuity.
