In Staunton, we have a hero who exemplifies everything good that one person can do for a community.

For years, SWallcrawler, affectionately known as Spiderman, has been a visible and inspiring presence in our city. You can always catch a glimpse of him downtown, watching over us and stepping up whenever there's a problem. He's more than just a superhero in costume; he is our friend, our neighbor, and our protector.

After the horrible ice storm we had, Spiderman helped to clear people's walks and driveways and dig out cars. His consistent dedication to the betterment of our community is unmatched. He has teamed up with local businesses for food and toy drives. 

Spiderman has helped our unhoused community, providing them with food and warm clothing,  He asks for nothing in return and doesn't seek financial gain. His actions are selfless and speak volumes about the impact one individual can make.

We believe it’s time for the City of Staunton to officially recognize the contributions of our very own Spiderman by naming him the official superhero of Staunton. Such an acknowledgment would not only honor Spiderman but also symbolize the spirit of unity and selflessness that he brings to our town.
