Recognize Parental Alienation at State and Federal Levels

The Issue

Having personally seen the traumatic effects of parental alienation on both affected children and the alienated parent, I am deeply committed to this cause through my non-profit, The Relentless Brand Inc., and its inaugural initiative, The Patricia E. Lassiter Project.

Parental alienation, a form of psychological child abuse, involves one parent leading their child to unjustifiably reject the other parent. This not only severs familial bonds but also inflicts enduring psychological harm on children. Research in the Journal of Family Therapy & Review highlights that such children are at risk of depression, diminished self-esteem, substance dependency, and self-injurious behavior in later life (Journal of Family Therapy & Review).

Despite these dire effects, the legal system often overlooks parental alienation. It's imperative that we drive a change.

Your signature on this petition is more than a gesture; it's a commitment to the #ISTANDWITHPATRICIA movement. It's an essential step towards actualizing The Patricia E. Lassiter Parental Alienation Prevention Act. While this change won't happen overnight, your support propels us forward.

We implore state and federal legislators to acknowledge parental alienation as a critical issue deserving urgent action. We advocate for laws that shield children from this emotional trauma and offer support to impacted families.

By signing this petition, you take a stand against parental alienation and champion legislative reforms safeguarding our children's emotional well-being today and into the future. Join us by signing now!
